| Born in Melbourne, grew up in North Dandenong (Melbourne's south-east), attended Noble Park North Primary and Carwatha Secondary. Worked for OPSM as an optical dispenser, then worked for Telstra as a telephone man. Moved to Canada (Ottawa) in '96 (worked as a wine rep and then as a telephone man there - that was a fun winter!!), returned to Melbourne and attended Deakin University while working at Coles Supermarkets. Degrees in Psychology and Biology (am a nerd), while at Uni took up swing dancing (in early 2001, aged 27), moved to Edinburgh, took up swing dance instruction while working respectively at Burger King, Starbucks and then Thomas Cook, then moved here to Galway and continued the dancing (and loving it - thanks everyone).
